Prof. Dr. Nicolai Schädel, LL.M. (University of London), studied law at the Universities of Bayreuth and Munich (LMU). He subsequently earned his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University of London and his doctorate from the LMU Munich.
Nicolai Schädel began his career as a lawyer specializing in corporate law and M&A in the Düsseldorf office of an international law firm. He later became a partner in a Stuttgart-based law firm specializing in commercial law, focusing on corporate law, accounting law, patent law, M&A, and liability issues for auditors, tax advisors, and lawyers. In 2013, Nicolai Schädel accepted a professorship in commercial law at the Stuttgart Media University (HdM). From 2016 to the end of 2024, he worked as an "Of Counsel" (non-attorney employee) at Kurz Pfitzer Wolf & Partner. Since January 2025, he has been an "Of Counsel" at AVANTCORE, where he specializes in contract drafting and the exploitation of intellectual property rights, including the establishment and structuring of start-ups and joint ventures.
