The insurance is as a minimum sufficient for the requirements of §51 BRAO. Geographical area of validity: worldwide.

Avoidance of conflicts of interest
Lawyers are forbidden by professional legal regulations (§43, para. 4 BRAO) to take on conflicting interests. A check is therefore carried out to establish if any conflict of interest is apparent before a mandate is accepted.

Out-of-court conciliation
In cases of disagreement between lawyers and their clients, there is the possibility, on request, of out-of-court conciliation with the regional bar association (§73, para. 2 no. 3 in conjunction with §73, para. 5 BRAO) or the conciliation committee of lawyers at the German Federal Bar (§191 f. BRAO), which can be accessed via the home page of the German Federal Bar (www.brak.de) or by email: schlichtungsstelle@brak.de.
